What?? Venison has a really acquired taste and deer are easier than hell to get. It takes a real man to get a 300 point elk. Where you planning on going? Avoid Weber, it’s going to be so full of people all the animals will be scared away.
Ya, you are using a small rifle man. Go for a 30- 06 it has enough knockdown power that you don’t get gamy meat.
Big bulls are protected on spike units and reserved for those who draw a limited-entry tag (to shoot any bull). That’s how things work in Utah.
