Fishingpoint is for Australian fishers to buy sell or trade all types of fishing equipment and or services, a broad spectrum of fishing if you will.

I founded the fishingpoint early in 2009 and the objective behind the fishingpoint website is to further centralise recreational fishing trade by creating Australias fishing marketplace on-line. Instead of fisho’s having to look over many other websites they can simply and easily use the fishingpoint to find and trade any new or used fishing equipment or services.

I always wanted (since the internet started) to find/use a complete fishing trading platform on-line to find or sell fishing tackle and find services, I couldn’t not one that fully suited what I wanted it to do anyway so I made one myself.

The fishingpoint is all about creating, a permeable culture of fishing stuff, articles, news, reviews, boats for sale and equipment. The site is designed so fishermen or fishing businesses are able to put a classifieds display up for your business or a classifieds listing when trading in fishing gear.

I love fishing myself so naturally I wanted to start a fishing business so I could be further immersed within fishing, whilst providing a valuable affordable service to all the fishermen and fisherwomen around Australia.

Down the track I would like to have a lot of fishing Charter companies and Fishing guides advertising on the site. I reckon this would be a great thing as in my research trying to find the exact charter company when I wanted to go on a fishing trip with some mates proved not so easy as I had to look from site to site to site which not only equated to heaps of time spent looking it also meant that if its happening to me its happening to other people looking to go on a charter or find the right guiding operation that suites them. So basically I want the site to have a yellow pages of fishing operations around Australia, so people can come along and find lots of fishing equipment & services under the one roof so to speak.

How to trade on the fishing point? Its easy as really, go through a free and fast registration page, receive a confirmation email confirm it then log on to the site and add your listing. The listing process is simple and easy, simply choose your category. There is also a trade directory section on the site to add your businesses details to or a fishing jobs section when trying to find those all essential employee’s!

If you would like to add your logo to the banner then contact us and we can put your logo up on the site which displays on every page which is a 12month free listing theres only 5 places though so be quick if your interested the logo is linked back to your site.

Never forget the importance of inbound links back to your site (the big 3 search engines google, yahoo and bing love it) so you can further link up with other sites and grow your internet advertising tree nice and organic like for better page rankings.
